Puppy sitting

Puppy sitting

It’s been a bit of a crazy week for me. I agreed to puppy sit for the kids while they went on vacation in Alaska. That in itself wouldn’t be so bad but I already have 3 smallish dogs and it’s easy to forget how much energy a puppy has. Especially a puppy that doesn’t seem to realize how big he is sometimes. We had a lot of fun though.

Koda with his favorite outside toy

One thing we discovered was that Koda loves to play fetch and chase a Frisbee. It was a great way to get all his energy out. My dogs don’t mind chasing a ball I throw but they never bring it back to me so I always have to go get it. They played along by running after Koda as he ran.

We also had a crazy storm blow threw this week and it rearranged some of the patio furniture. The winds were upwards of 80mph. What’s funny is the wind was so loud I never actually heard any of this.

Still – it was a very good week. I didn’t get a lot of art time in but I had so much fun with Koda and my puppies that I don’t mind. Other than the storm the weather was very agreeable this week so we spent a lot of time outside.

This coming week I’m prepping for the 100 Day Project that starts April 2nd. The time has flown by and I can’t believe it’s starting so soon. What are your plans for the week?
